Obituary of Blanche Hembree

Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday August 12, 2024, Blanche Augusta Hembree, age 89, of Grande Pointe, beloved wife of the late William Hembree(2020) of 66 years.  

Born in Dover Township in 1935, daughter of the late Lucie (VanBavinckhove) and Henri Casier. 

Loving mother of Houston (Carmen) Hembree and M’Liss (Matt) Hembree-Ross. Cherished Nanny of Amanda (Craig), Jordan, Bailey (Jason) and Morgan (Ethan) and Great-Nanny of Mikaylah and Austyn.

Predeceased by her twin sons; Marshall and Martin and by her sisters Georgina, Marie Louise and Brother Romain.

Blanche was a loving, kind and compassionate woman who dedicated her life to her family near and far. She is reunited with her true love leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness and patience that will carry through generations.

As were Blanche’s wishes there will be no public visitation or service, Cremation has taken place.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St.S.Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
