Obituary of Loretta Reaume

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Thursday August 22, 2024, Loretta Frances Reaume, age 100.  Beloved wife of the late Romain Caron (1958) and the late Ben Reaume (1990).  Born in Chatham in 1924, daughter of the late Elizabeth (Barron) and Leo Gillier.

Loving mother of Michael (Janice) Caron, Anna (late Robert) Jubenville, Janie Couture, Geraldine (late Bill) Fowler, Leona (Gerald) Lebeouf, Romain (Jean) Caron, Eugene Caron, Dick Caron and Lou-Ann (John) Smeenk.  Cherished grandmother of 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.  She will also be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Gerri Ann Gillier and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her siblings; twin sister Louise (late Walter) Chipchase, Leonard Gillier and the late Mary (late Gord) Cushman. 

Loretta was retired from Thamesview Lodge after 20 years of service.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the outstanding team at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home for their compassionate and exceptional care.  Loretta was loved by everyone for her selfless nature.  She will be remembered for her generosity and kind heart.  Loretta is now in the arms of Jesus.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday August 26, 2024 from 11 AM until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 PM. 

Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery, Pain Court.
