Surrounded by family, after a long wonderful life on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in his 90th year. He is now reunited with his wife Victoria (1993). Much loved father of Eric (Judy), Judy Heyink (Henry), Patricia Stang (Ron Martinello), Loretta Scott (Robert), James (the late Clara) and Joan Stang-Kim (Kimin). Cherished grandpa of Karen (Paul), Rebecka, Sarah (Dan), Amy (Abraham), Andrew (Lelia) Arthur, Maureen (Tyson), Katrina, Lauren, Joshua, Samuel and Matthew. Grandpa Leo will be remembered by his great grandchildren Brandon, Victoria, Dean, Natalie, Carter, Olivia, Leo, Easton, Georgia, Jameson, Olivier, Jacobson and Scarlett. Dear brother of Katherine and Agnes Erker (Jack) and several that have predeceased him. Leo will be fondly remembered by his sister in law Rosemarie Hamilton, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Leo was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church. He had love of music, singing often with the choir and the Lois Singers. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents of the Chatham Retirement Resort for providing a happy and loving living environment. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday October 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice or Chatham Kent Health Alliance Palliative Care.
