Peacefully, at his residence, on Monday, October 19, 2015, Alan Hugh William Lester Costar, age 78, of Chatham and formerly of Vancouver Island, B.C., beloved husband of Kathleen. Born in London, UK. Son of the late Phyllis and William Costar.
He is survived by his son Jeremy (Kimberley) Costar of Vancouver and grandson Caleb, brother Tim (Angela) Costar of Pickering and nephews Simon and Nicholas Costar, and cousin Lynda and family. Also survived by his step daughters, Yvonne Yeoman (Mark) and Michelle Yeoman (Bob) and step grandchildren Makail and Devin.
Alan was an actor and a member of ACTRA/UBCP.
Cremation will take place with a private family service at a later date.
Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
