Obituary of Sophia Molema-Golas

Sophia Perry Molema-Golas passed away peacefully in her mother’s loving embrace Saturday, September 5, 2015. Sweet Sophia was a greatly anticipated gift to both families. She arrived gently into the world on September 2, 2015. She was a beautiful, happy baby with rosy cheeks and glittering eyes. She loved to snuggle her family and be held close to her mother’s heart. During her short time here, she touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends. Although her life was brief, it gave great meaning and joy. “The little one we hoped for was swiftly here and gone. But the love that she has planted is a light that still shines on.” Sophia will be deeply missed and remembered by her mother Lindsay Molema and father Daniel Golas. Her Mimi Sherry Molema and grandparents Filomena and Zbigniew Golas. Auntie Melissa and Uncle Shaun Melo. Aunt Teresa Golas and Uncle Mike Harwood. Aunt Christina and Uncle Brian Machado. Cousins Zinedine, Xavier, Emerson and Cruz Machado. She was predeceased by her Opa Perry Molema. A private service will be held for the family. The parents have requested in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Perry Molema Memorial Gardens and can be done so by calling the funeral home. The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home 156 William St. S. Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
