Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, on Wednesday August 10, 2016, Mary Elizabeth Zink, age 91, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Jack Zink (1995). Born in Kingsville in 1925, daughter of the late Clarissa (Stobbs) and Albert Wilkinson.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, the Catholic Women’s League (Harwich) and is a retired Pharmacist.
Loving mother of John (Deb) Zink, Andrea (Rick) MacFarlane, Mike (Anne-Marie) Zink and Jake (Keri) Zink. Cherished grandmother of Sarah and Mitchell MacFarlane, Chris, Kelly, Craig, Joshua and Jordana Zink, Lindsay (Allan) Tripp and Ashley (Andrew) Austin, great grandmother of Everest and Kai and Mackenzie and Halle. Predeceased by a sister Nancy Bennett.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday August 12, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm where parish and Catholic Women’s League prayers will be at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 13, 2016 at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will be in Old St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
