Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Sunday, May 17, 2015, Joseph Gerald Giroux, age 72, of Chatham, beloved husband of Laurette Giroux (Carrier). Born in Sherbrooke, son of the late Yvonne and Joseph Giroux .
He is survived by his children, Diane (Chuck) Renaud of Sarnia, Dan (Lee-Ann) Giroux of Pain Court, Mike (Deb) Giroux of Wallaceburg, Angele Giroux (Kevin Dillon) also of Wallaceburg, Paulo Giroux (Fern Mailloux) of Chatham and Gerald (Lisa) Giroux of Pain Court, 12 grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Giroux (Ericka), Justine Giroux (Matt), Shane Renaud, Terra Mark, Jesse Godbout, Timmy Hebert, Jake Giroux, Tyler Renaud, Justin Hebert, Blair King, Trevor Giroux, Emily Giroux, Ella Mailloux, and 2 great grandchildren, Tanner and Owen Hebert, and a sister Noella Demers of Quebec.
Predeceased by all of his other brothers and sisters.
Joseph was a member of the 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 10 am – 11:45 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12 pm in Blessed Sacrament Church, Chatham. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
