At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Sunday May 10, 2015, Laura Estevam Alves Sousa, age 73, of Chatham, beloved wife of Antonio Sousa. Born in Arao, Portugal in 1942, daughter of the late Adelaide (Pereira) and Manuel Alves.
She is survived by a daughter Paula Cavacas and her husband Jorge of Mississauga and by 2 grandchildren, Jason and Brittany.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7– 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes’ Church. Entombment will be in Maple Leaf Mausoleum.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
