Obituary of Georgette Kok

Passed away peacefully at the Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the age of 87.
She is survived by her beloved husband Gerard Kok of Residence on the Thames retirement home in Chatham.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Yvonne Callens and a younger brother Anthony Joseph Callens (Anthony’s surviving children are Diane (Dan) Gagner, Rose (Robert) McClymont, Allen Callens and Gary Callens) all of Chatham.
Georgette was born in Wingene, Belgium and Gerry in Tilburg, Holland. She had three sister/brother-in-laws in Holland—Netty V.D.Berg, wife of Gerard V.D. Berg; Coby Van Irsel, wife of Jack Van Irsel; and Riet Franken, wife of Theo Franken.Georgette will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, February 19th, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S, Chatham with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Meadow Park Nursing Home who made her last week’s easier.
