Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Friday May 8, 2015, Abel DoNascimento Urbano, age 85, of Chatham, beloved husband of Maria Alice (Neto) Urbano. Born in Urros, Portugal in 1929, son of the late Maria (Morais) and Jose Urbano.
Loving father of Maria Ventura and her husband John of Chatham and Mary Lou Constancio and her husband Antonio “Jorge” of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Nicole and Jessica. Dear brother of Palmira Coelho and her husband Manuel of Chatham. Predeceased by a sister Adelina Santos.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday May 12, 2015 from 2- 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 10 am in St. Agnes’ Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Chatham Kent Health Alliance would be appreciated.
