Obituary of Leona Lozon

Leona Marie Lozon died peacefully with family at her side, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Born in Pain Court on December 9, 1924, daughter of the late Melda and Francis J.Couture.
She is predeceased by her husband Lester Hilaire Lozon (1997) and a son Ronald Lozon (1989).
She will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Theresa and Dave DeVogelaere of St. Thomas, Joanne (late Gary 2005) and Phil Duquette of Chatham, Louella and Jim Johnson of Chatham, and Bernice and Armand Laprise of Eberts, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Sister of Yvonne Richie (late Jerry) of Chatham, and Marie Jeanne Couture of Dover Township.
Predeceased by her 3 sisters, Cecile Kowalyk, Marion Letourneau (late Sylva), Adele Charron (late Réal), and a brother, Ovila Couture (late Bertha). Leona was a member of Le Club de l’amitié.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm on Monday, May 11, 2015. Parish prayers will be held at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be conducted in Immaculée Conception Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11 am.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
