Obituary of Gerald Lauzon

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday May 4, 2015, Gerald David “Gerry” Lauzon, age 74, of Chatham. Born in Chatham in 1941, son of the late Marie Anne (Peltier) and Leopold Lauzon.
He is survived by a daughter Suzanne (Lauzon) Acton and husband Ken of Windsor and a son David of Leamington. Cherished grandpa Ger to Laura, Ryan and Jocelyn. Gerry’s grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. Dear brother of Roger (Brenda) Lauzon and Maurice (Sylvia) Lauzon. Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Edmond (2001).
Gerry will always be remembered for his profound love of life. Everyone on King St. knew Gerry from his years of Tailoring and Men’s Wear Sales in the downtown core. His big smile, contagious laugh, and overflowing charm were known to many and will be dearly missed.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday May 7, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.
Cremation will follow. Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
