Obituary of Louise Helen McClymont

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother Louise Helen McClymont, peacefully at Maple City Retirement resort, Chatham on Saturday May 2, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Elgin McClymont (2005). Born in Amherstburg in 1922, daughter of the late Howard and Loretta (Hurley) Whaling. Louise was the last surviving sibling of the Whaling clan.
She is survived by her children, Dennis McClymont, Sue Grant and her husband Michael, Diana O’Mara and her husband Dennis, Jim McClymont and his wife Irene, Bob McClymont and his wife Rose. Dearly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and one yet to arrive. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters; Millie Sweetman, Bernice Doyle, Mary Taylor and brothers; Raymond and Pat Whaling. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 -9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Cremation will follow.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Society or Maple City Residence Gardens (cheques to Maple City Residence Council) would be appreciated.
