Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 8:30 PM, Alfons George Defour, age 76, of Omemee, ON beloved husband of Ruth Junkin and the late Joan Defour. Born in Belgium in 1939, son of the late Rosa (VanGert) and Michel Defour.
Loving father of Deborah, Brenda and Richard and step-father of Cindy, Stephen and Lori. Dearest grandfather of Michael, Brent, Brandon, Justin, Stephen Jr., Andrew, Angel, Jenny, MacKenzie, Kayla and many great grandchildren.
Predeceased by granddaughter Amy McGaffey.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM in the chapel with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
