Obituary of Shirley Schmidt

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Saturday April 8, 2017, Shirley Dorothy (Ryan) Schmidt, at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late John Schmidt (1999).
Born in Newfoundland in 1941, Shirley worked in the kitchen at the Public General Hospital before her retirement, also delivered Pizza for Thames Lea Restaurant and she loved her cats.
Dear sister of Bessie Morgan and husband Herbert, sister-in-law of Norma Ryan. Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers William and Gordon Ryan.
As were Shirley’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.
Donations to P.A.W.R. of Chatham-Kent or the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
A special thanks to C.C.A.C., Bayshore, Dr. Lapierre and the nursing staff at the C.K.H.A. for their excellent care.
An extra special thanks goes to Bev, who was always there for us through the good times and the bad.
