Suddenly, at his residence, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, Maurice Joseph Devolder, age 82, of Chatham, beloved husband of Irene Devolder (Regan).
Born in Chatham, son of the late Phirelde and Emile Devolder.
He is survived by his daughter Karen (Bill) Schram of Chatham and his son Joe Devolder also of Chatham, his grandchildren Jessica Warecki, Kayla Schram, and Regan Devolder, his brother Louis (Anna) Devolder of Wallaceburg and by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Patricia, and by his brothers Leo and Michael.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:30 PM in St. Ursula’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
