Peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Friday January 2, 2015, Theresa Doyle, age 75, of Chatham-Kent, beloved wife of the late Louis Doyle (1998). Born in Lebanon in 1939, daughter of the late Michel and Rose Maatouk.
Theresa was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Catholic Women’s League (city), she worked at Star Furniture and owned and operated Theresa’s Alterations and Draperies.
Loving mother of Mary Lou Agnes Doyle, Theresa (Greg) Benoit, Leo (Kelly) Doyle and Paul (Heather) Doyle. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Krystin, Lee, Kayla, Dylan, Riley, Davin, Dakota, Chloe, and Lucas. Dear sister of Sally Yazbeck, Samia Maatouk and John Maatouk, and sister-in-law of Patricia Brush and Kay Odette. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers, Joe, George and Emil Maatouk.
Friends and family may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm, C.W.L. prayers to follow.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10 am.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
