Passed away peacefully with family at her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Margaret Jeanne Harding, age 84, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Jack Wilfred Harding (1990). Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Alice O’Rourke and Hilary Ouellette. Jeanne was a Registered Nurse and worked at Metropolitan Hospital in Windsor, Ontario for many years.
Loving sister of Rosemary Zimmer (dec. Patrick), Winnifred Gillier (dec. Peter), Amelia Ouellette (dec. 1968), Mary Frances Kehoe (Lawrence), Elizabeth Kohel (Jerome), Julia Denys (George), and Tony Ouellette (Shirley). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 PM. Catholic Women’s League Prayers will follow. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church.
Private family interment will be in Victoria Memorial Gardens, Windsor.
Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
