Obituary of Ellen J. Griffore

At Maple City Residence, Chatham, on Thursday February 2, 2017, Ellen Josephine Griffore, age 89, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Zephir Griffore (2002). Born in Ontario in 1927, daughter of the late Mary Dene Leda (Bourbonnais) and John Thomas Nottley.
Loving mother of Gabriel Griffore and wife (Julia), Patrick Griffore and wife Nancy, Jean Paul Griffore and wife Debbie, and Mary Anne Trinacty and husband Randy. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Also sadly missed by a daughter-in-law Charolette Griffore. Predeceased by 2 sons, David and Michael and by all her brothers and sisters.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday February 5, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes’ Church.
Burial will be in St. Philippe Church Cemetery, Grande Pointe.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
