Obituary of Margaret Brown

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Sunday, October 5, 2014, Margaret Genevieve Brown, age 88, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Stewart Brown (2003). Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Sadie and William Haskell. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Peggy (Chuck) Sysel of Chatham, her grandchildren, Mark (Crimsen) Sysel of Petrolia, Beth (Andrew) Bates of Chatham, Rhyse and Gage Cadotte of Alberta and her great grandchildren Chloe, Calvin, Aiden and Georgia. Survived by her sister Marlene Cundle of Florida, her sister-in-law Marion Haskell and her daughter-in-law Sheila Heath of Alberta. Predeceased by her son Dan Cadotte, her brother Earl Haskell, and her brother-in-law Tom Cundle. Margaret will be greatly missed by her wonderful friends who have remained close to her for so long. A special thank you to Faye Geddes who has been so supportive through the years. Margaret graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1947 and worked in Chatham at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 42 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 9 AM until 10:45 AM. We will then proceed to St. Joseph’s Church for a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial of cremated remains will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to C.K. Hospice would be appreciated.
