Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, Maria (Mary) Tendijowski, age 92, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Aleksander Tendijowski (2006). Born in Germany in 1921, daughter of the late Rosa (Heinrich) and Anton Dedner.
Loving mother of Krys (John) Januszkiewicz of Camlachie, Harry (Lynda) Tendijowski of Oakville, Ann Tendijowski of Sarnia and Jeff Tendijowski of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of James (Chantal), Bryan (Amy), Ian and Lisa and great granddaughter Isabella. Also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother in Germany.
Predeceased by 1 sister and 4 brothers in Germany.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 7-9PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10 AM.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
