Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Thursday, July 31, 2014, Marie Claire Lavergne, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Lavergne (1967). Born in Saint Michel-Des-Saints, Quebec in 1924, daughter of the late Delia (Sarrazin) and Henry Beland.
Loving mother of Patrick (Colette) Lavergne of Chatham. Dearest grandmother of Gina (Mike) Gobbi of Chatham and Steven (Amelia) Lavergne of London and great grandmother of Leland. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 12 PM until time of Memorial Service at 1 PM.
Interment of ashes will be in Maple Leaf Columbarium. Donations to St. Agnes Church would be appreciated.
