Obituary of Mary Kathryn O’Rourke

Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Sunday July 6, 2014, Mary Kathryn O’Rourke, at the age of 66 years. Born in Chatham in 1947, daughter of the late Muriel Chinnick and Joseph O’Rourke. Mary worked as an Office Manager for Maple Industries.
She is survived by her siblings; Dorothy O’Rourke, Joseph (Diane) O’Rourke, Alice (David) Schroeder, Muriel “Billie” (Patrick) Thibert and Michael (Sally) O’Rourke. Also sadly missed by a very special friend Cathy Tiffin and husband Shawn and by many nieces and nephews and by brothers-in-law Bernard Bister and Harvey Jeffrey. Predeceased by 3 sisters; Joanne Jeffrey, Marion Brister and Margaret O’Rourke.
Cremation has taken place. A Family and Friends Memorial Service will be conducted sometime in August and will be announced on this website.
Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
