Peacefully, at St. Andrew’s Residence, Chatham, on Saturday, June 7, 2014, Bette Louise Roesch, age 75, of Chatham, beloved wife of Ernie Roesch. Born in Florence, ON in 1938, daughter of the late Lyla (Hunt) and Bert Bodkin. Bette was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and the Catholic Women’s League (Harwich).
Beloved mother of Joan (Dale) Jaecques of Bramalea, Ted (Ruth) Roesch of Thamesville, Dan (Kimberly) Roesch of Wallaceburg and Jim (Jennifer) Roesch of Kent Bridge. Dearest grandmother of Kenneth, Alesha, Dan, Steve, Becky, Hannah, Abigail and Olivia and step grandmother of Tracy, Aaron, Tiffany and Brian. Dear sister of Sharron (Tom) McCutcheon of Chatham. Predeceased by her brother Bill Bodkin (2013).
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 7 pm.
**NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO AFTERNOON VISITATION**.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Outreach for Hunger would be appreciated.
