Obituary of Jerry Nedvidek

Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, March 17, 2014, Jerry Joseph Nedvidek, age 74, of Chatham, beloved husband of Frances (Gazarek) Nedvidek for over 50 years. Born in Chatham in 1940, son of the late Anna (Tomek) and Paul Nedvidek.
Cherished father of Carol Nedvidek of Chatham. Dearest brother of Frank (Mary) Nedvidek of Mt. Brydges. Dear brother-in-law of Lillian Bursik. Sadly missed by nephews Francis (Sabina) Nedvidek of Germany, Michael (Julie) Nedvidek of Kingston, his niece Diane Nedvidek of Bermuda and several cousins.
Jerry retired from Navistar after 30.4 years on the assembly line.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1:30 pm in St. Ursula’s Church.
Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
