Ivan Paul passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic automobile accident on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the age of 25. Loving son of John and Jeannie (Boka) Van Den Enden.
Ivan will be forever missed by his best friend and beloved sister Kasandra Van Den Enden. He will be sadly missed by his “Oma” Trudy Van Den Enden ,Grandmother Ana Boka “Anki” and Loving Aunt Kristina Boka who he also called “Tis”. He will be sadly missed by his uncles, Adrian (Florence), Rien (Pat), Al (Michelle), Jack, Bill (Noralyn), Joe (Deb), Mike, Paul (Patricia) Van Den Enden. His aunts, JoAnne (Barry) Prout, Connie (Cliff) Elford and Terry (Ian) Kennedy.
Ivan is also survived by numerous cousins and so many close friends like Brent and AJ and the list goes on and on. Pre-deceased by his “Opa” Adrian Van Den Enden and his “Deda” Albert Boka, his aunt Cheryl (Mike) Van Den Enden and cousins Marsha Van Den Enden and Chantelle Sekerak.
Ivan touched so many lives on his short journey on this earth and lived every day to the fullest. He was a perfectionist and lived his life that way no matter if it was work, hockey (Boston Bruins), soccer, skiing or all decked out in his riding gear bombing around on our farm in Kent Bridge with his dirt bike. He was passionate about his Electronic Music and spinning his decks. You could always find him at a festival or night club following his favorite DJ Eric Prydz. He graduated from St. Paul –Good Shepherd Catholic School in Thamesville.
One of his proudest accomplishments there is that he qualified for a spot in the Canada Wide Science Fair in St. John’s NewFoundland . Ivan attended the Pines in Chatham where he played the saxophone in the Jazz Band and on nights and weekends he was a Produce Clerk at the Real Canadian Superstore. After graduating from high school he enrolled at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Ivan earned a degree in Renewable and Sustainable Engineering Technology which he put to good use. He worked for Semtech Corporation in Burlington for his co-op placement and that in turn led to be hired on for the same company in Kanata.
They loved him there and there were so many other accomplishments in his life the he always made us tremendously proud as our son.
“Laku Noc” Ivan, until we meet again.
