Peacefully, at Marion Villa Long Term Care, London, on Monday, December 19, 2016, Bernard Louis Gagnier, age 87, formerly of Pain Court, beloved husband of Marguerite Gagnier. Born in Stoney Pointe, son of the late Agnes and Louis Gagnier. He is survived by his children Colette (Warren) Bechard of Burlington, Denise DeFraeye of London, Gabriel (Gayle Goodwin) of B.C., and Yvon (Brent Jeffery) of Ottawa, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters, Bernice Houle (Maurice), Germaine St. Pierre, Betty Ann (Gerald) Alexander, Georgina (Ivan) Marcoux and his brother Norman (Betty). Predeceased by his sisters, Blanche (Sylvester) Mosco, Dora (Gerard) Houle, Rosabelle (Roger) Houle, Norma (Edward) Sauve, and Diane Whitehead and his brothers, Ludger (Rose Marie), Gerard (Marie Rose), James (Linda) and Stanley. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11 am in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court. Cremation to follow with burial of ashes at a later date. Donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
