Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday October 10, 2016, Catherine Helen DeBurger, beloved wife of Peter DeBurger of Chatham and the late Murray McKay (1979). Born in St. Thomas, daughter of the late Eva (Winter) and Norman Alexander.
Loving mother of Brian (Anne) McKay, Robin (Maureen) McKay, and Thomas (Linda) DeBurger. Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Mark) Velle, Laura (Steve) Hughes, Lisa (Chris) Wedlake, Christopher (Shayna) McKay, Kevin (Andrea) DeBurger and Christopher (Vanessa) DeBurger. Also sadly missed by 12 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers; Stanley, Robert and William Alexander and by sisters; Eileen Putnam and Marian Alexander.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm on Thursday October 13, 2016.
Funeral Service will be conducted in Christ Anglican Church (80 Wellington St. W., Chatham) on Friday October 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
Cremation will follow.
Donations to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
