Obituary of Raymond Moore

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Friday September 30, 2016, Raymond Charles Moore, age 95, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” (Neff) Moore (2009).
Born in Chatham in 1920, son of the late Mabel (Barrett) and Raymond William Moore. Ray was a retired Brick and Stone Mason, a member of St. Agnes Church and the Royal Canadian Legion.
Loving father of Bob Moore and his wife Lois of Leamington and Rick Moore and his wife Gloria Liebing of Tecumseh. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Mahon, Pat Wimpress, Mary Jane Pyne and husband Ralph and William “Bill” Neff and his wife Donna. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Joanne Moore (1969), a brother William Moore and 2 brother-in-laws; Donald Mahon and James Wimpress.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday October 3, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes’ Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
