Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Monday September 26, 2016, Ronald Maxwell Nead, age 80, of Cedar Springs, beloved husband of Judy (Flynn) Nead. Born in Chatham in 1936, son of the late Alice (Dixon) and John Nead.
Loving father of Kevin Nead, John-Blair (Angela) Nead, Jamie Nead (Kim), Rhonda Nead (Terry), also 2 stepsons, Randy (Cheryl) Campbell and Bill Campbell. Also sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Patsy Thompson and Gertie (Grayling) Church. Also missed by a sister-in-law Wendy Nead and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a stepson Allan Campbell, a sister and her husband Joan and Gerald Cadotte and by brothers; Harold “Grant” Nead, Jack Alfred Nead and Larry Nead.
As were Ron’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
