At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, Chatham, on Thursday March 16, 2017, Shirley Marguerite Ball, age 84, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Jack Ball (2009). Born in Galt Ontario in 1932, daughter of the late Rita (Brown) and Earl MacKellar.
Shirley sold for Avon for years and her and Jack were always very active with the Royal Canadian Legion.
Loving mother of John (Brenda) and Doug (Cecilia). Cherished grandmother of Eric (Jenna), Stephanie, Chelsea, Nolan and Lauren and dear sister of Ken (Mildred) MacKellar. Predeceased by a son Jeff Ball (1996), a sister Audrey Fenton and a brother Neil MacKellar.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Wednesday March 22, 2017.
A Funeral Service will then be conducted in Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home at 11:30 AM with Pastor Jamie Tiffin officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations to the Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
