Obituary of Elta Ruby Travis

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Saturday July 29, 2017, Elta Ruby Travis, age 82, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Robert Travis Sr. (1990).  Born in Leamington in 1934, daughter of the late  Charlotte (McGee) and Russell Edwards.  

Loving mother of Coreen (Curtis) Brown, Pauline Travis, Charlene (Jerome) Phabian, Bob (Linda) Travis and Jim (Karen) Travis. Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Nicole Travis. 

Predeceased by a daughter Doreen Travis (2003), a grandson Paul Crew (1980), a brother Sherwill Travis and a sister Eleanor.  

As were Elta’s wishes there will be no funeral home visitation or service.

A graveside committal will take place in North Buxton on Friday August 4 at 11:30 am
