He will be deeply missed by his children Mark (Cindy), Jerry (Vivian), Dan (Jackie), Charles (Kathryn), Joe (Oksanna) and Peter. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Mariel, Claire, Josh, Jessie, Eric, Gina, Ava, Max, Charles, Steve Lacina and Rachel (Matt) Froese, great grandchildren, Abigail and Lauren Lacina, Brody and Colton Froese. Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Georgina Lacina, Fran Landry, and his sister in law Marie Lacina, his nieces Judith (Don) Brisbin, Mary Beth (Anthony Strong), Susan Landry, nephews John and Paul Lacina and Will Landry. Charles is predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary (Kominek) Lacina, infant brother Jerry and brother John (2006) and brother in law Dennis Landry (2004). After over 30 years of dedicated service to National Grocers, Charlie enjoyed the time he spent helping with pickups for Outreach For Hunger and was always ready to lend a hand for any project that needed help. He always enjoyed his summers at Rustic Bay Resort in Lindsay, Ont. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Spirit in Life Centre, the Parkinson’s Foundation, War Amps or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
