Obituary of Agathe Couture

Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Thursday August 31, 2017, Agathe Bernadette Couture, age 82, of Pain Court, beloved wife of the late Clifford Couture (2015).  Born in Chatham in 1935, daughter of the late Cordelia (Blain) and Alcide Brosseau.  Loving mother of Felix (Allison), Dennis (Shelley), Ronald, Richard and Wilfred. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Leona Tremblay and sister-in-law of Alice Brosseau.  Predeceased by 2 brothers; Gerard and Alcide Jr., one sister (Marie) Sr. Genevieve Brosseau and daughters-in-law Tracey and Janet Couture, brother-in-law Eugene Tremblay.   Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10 am – 12 pm.  A Funeral Service will then be held in the funeral home chapel at 12 noon.  Cremation will follow and burial of ashes will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery at a later date.  Donations to the Diabetes Association or the C.K. Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
