Obituary of Weronika Golas

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Wednesday November 8, 2017, Weronika Golas, age 96, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Wladyslaw Golas(1997).

  Born in Kozowa,Poland in 1921, daughter of the late Anna (Landwojtowicz) and Antoni Paterak.  Loving mother of Zbigniew “Ziggy” (Filomena) Golas, Anna (Marion) Ullmann, Wladyslawa Gebal, Jadwiga (Eugienuisz) Karol, Antoni (Aniela) Golas.

Cherished grandmother of Edward, Richard, Graig, Maggie, Marcie, Agnes, Teresa, Christina, Daniel, Kamila, David, Sebastian and Patricia and great grandmother of 16 grandchildren. Dear sister of Karolina Myszko and Czeslawa Pawlik.

  Predeceased by sisters Joanne Matysik and Katherine Kupczynska, her brother Benedykt Paterak, her son-in-law Joseph Gebal, and her great grand daughter Sophia Perry Molema-Golas.   Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2 -4  and 7 – 9pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 8 pm.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am in Our Lady of Victory Church.

 Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Dover Fire Fighters Association - Station 4 would be appreciated.
