Obituary of Eleanor Marie Breynaert

Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Sunday, November 12, 2017, Lenore “Eleanor” Marie Breynaert, age 85, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Cyril Breynaert (1988).  Born in Tilbury East Township, daughter of the late Anna and Eugene Peltier.  

She will be sadly missed by her children, Deborah Franklin, Catherine (Harry) Crowell, Brian (Elaine) Breynaert, and Gwen (Larry) Bond all of Chatham, 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Crowell (Al Trojand), Jeff (Tammy) Crowell, Shelley Bechard, Greg Franklin, Anne Marie (Mike) Kelley, Tammy Breynaert, Gwen (John) Humpage, Stacey (Mark) McLean, Lee Anne Breynaert, and 21 great grandchildren.   Survived by two sisters, Margaret Leclaire, Mary Lewis and one brother, Norman Peltier and many nieces and nephews.  

Predeceased by her son-in-law Ken Franklin and a great grand daughter Anisa Kelly, one brother Eugene Peltier and two sisters, Bernice Papa and Marlene Hunter.   

Eleanor was a member of the St. Joseph’s C.W.L. (City) and the Royal Canadian Legion. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church.  

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
