Obituary of Kenneth Norman Jenkins
Peacefully, surrounded by his children, at Windsor Regional Hospital, on Thursday, December 28, 2017, Kenneth Norman Jenkins, age 88, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Frances Jenkins (2011).
Born in Blenheim, son of the late Ada and William Jenkins.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Gary (Nancy) Jenkins of Mitchell’s Bay, Sandra (Fabian) Bento of London, Paul (Marion) of Kimball, Michigan, Lori Jenkins of London, Scott (Lisa) Jenkins of Belle River, 12 grandchildren, Jeff (Taryn), Jaime, Erin, Matt (Kimmi), Chris (Kara), Cameron, Tessa, Holden, Eden, Stephanie, Erica and Jack, 9 great grandchildren, Alexis, Ethan, Olivia, Brooklyn, Elliot, Ellie, Charlie, Mila, and Lylah-Mae. Ken will also be missed by his sister-in-law Connie (Nick) Gonzalez, and special friend Maxine. Special uncle to Bill and Patsy Jenkins as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers, Gordon, Ernie, Fred, Les Jenkins, and sister Joyce Crow. Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
