Peacefully at Trillium Villa, Sarnia, on Sunday January 21, 2018, Aldea Couture, age 100, beloved wife of the late Adelard Couture (1985).  Born in 1918, daughter of the late Arthur and Valerie (Emery) Barrette.

Loving mother of Rita (Richard) Rivard. Predeceased by her son Jerome Couture (1998). Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  

Predeceased by sisters; Marie Laporte, Eleanor Gagnier, Bertha Bussieres, Lorencia Mose, Dorothy Renaud, Margaret Lebert, Jeannette Gauvin, and brothers; Alfred, Joseph, Henry, Raymond, Maurice, Daniel, and Leonard Barrette.

Friends and relatives may visit at Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court on Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 10 am until 11 am.

Mass of Christian Burial will then take place at 11 am in the Church.

Burial will follow in St. Philippe Cemetery, Grande Pointe.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
