Obituary of Jeanne Laprise (Haslip)

Jeanne Laprise passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham Ontario, on Tuesday March 27, 2018.

Jeanne, age 92, of Pain Court Ontario, was the beloved wife of the late John Haslip (2000).  Born in Pain Court in 1926, daughter of the late Délia (née Charron) and Josephat Laprise.

 Jeanne was a member of Immaculée Conception Church in Pain Court, worked as a tireless homemaker, volunteered with the Dames de Sainte-Anne, worked at the Post Office in Pain Court, and was a retired Registered Nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Loving mother of Paul (Michelle Authier) Haslip, Marc (Heather Roberts) Haslip and John Haslip. Cherished grandmother of Paul and Michelle Jérôme, Danielle Haslip and, Laurel and Dylan Haslip.

Predeceased by  sisters; Soeur Marie and Soeur Cécile, Anna Trahan (née Laprise) and by brothers Wilfrid and Trefflé Laprise.  

 Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday April 6, 2018 from 7-9 pm, where vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 10 am in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.  Interment will be in the Church Cemetery in Pain Court.
