Obituary of Alex Joseph Kehoe

The original Taylor Ave Kehoe Clan has been reunited with the passing of Alex (92nd year) on April 14.  He was the youngest of the four sons born to Alex (predeceased 1956) an Kate (predeceased 1981). 

Alex was loving and devoted husband to Mary (nee McBean) for almost 68 years. Together they had three children, Alex (Ursula), Mary Kay (predeceased 2006) (Rick), and Robert.  Alex is also survived by two wonderful grandchildren A.J. (Cass) and Karin (Aubrey). 

Alex was a WWII vet., worked for  Morden & Helwig Insurance Adjusters in Sarnia and Chatham for 42 years retiring as the Branch Manager in 1988, past president of Chatham Rotary Club, awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship, past chair of the Children’s Treatment Centre, past member of the Ontario Advisory Council on the Physically Handicapped, past volunteer on Chatham’s Committee of Assessment.

Special thanks to Dr Bailey for her care and compassion to the family, and especially “the tough old bird”.  As per his wishes, an immediate family service was held for Alex.  Donations in Alex memory can be made to any cancer organization.
