Obituary of Mary Delores Waekens

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Friday, July 27, 2018, Mary Delores Waekens, age 81, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Cam Waekens.  Born in Cape Breton, daughter of the late Cecile and Walter Nordin.

 She will be missed by her sons Barry (Francine) Waekens, Blair Waekens both of Chatham, and her daughter Carrie Waekens of Waterloo, 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Jesse, Blair Jr., Mat, Laura, and Brendin.  Survived by her brothers, Wayne, Gary, Ernie, Vincent Nordin and sisters, Irene Pinaud, and Janet Nordin.

 Predeceased by her brother Karl. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the funeral home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

 Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11 am.  Cremation will follow.
