Obituary of Clayton Bechard

A life long resident of Pain Court, passed away inhis sleep at home in his 84th year.  Clay was the son of the late Edgar Bechard (1981) and Adelaide Drouillard (1963).  Loving husband of 59 years to Phyllis McLoughlin. 

Father of Carol Ashton (late Rick), Lionel Bechard (Lori), Norman Bechard (Leana), Angeline Shaw, Jean-Paul Bechard and Janice Neron (Theiry).  Forever remembered by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Brother of Norma DeBolle (Ted), Dean Bechard (late Judy) and Lillian Boudreau (late Armand).  Brother-in-law to the late Margaret “Peg” Edwards and the late Robert McLoughlin, Terry McLoughlin (Bonnie), Patricia Johanson, Norman “Joe” McLoughlin (Audrey) and Millie Smith (John).  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family would like to thank all the PSW’s of Bayshore and the nurses and palliative team from VON. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm.  

A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11 am with Fr. Eugene Roy celebrating. 

Cremation will follow.
