To the family of Dr Blake and to Doc Peter, Jim and I send our sincere condolences. Dr. Blake delivered myself and my siblings and was our family doctor for many many years. Doctor Blake was more than a doctor he was a friend a confidant someone to laugh with. One of the fun memories I have of Dr Blake is when he would be doing physicals he always asked how many weeks vacation do you get a year and would insist that you take each one of them. Dr Blake lived a full life and we should should all be so lucky as he was.

Dear Debbie and Howie, I was saddened to hear about your father's passing. It brought back fond memories of both of the your parents and the good times we all had when our families and the rest of the group got together. Those gatherings were especially fun when held at your place due to the pool, the layout of the house and, of course, the perfect host and hostess, Uncle Blake and Aunt Janet. Although I am now 62 years old, I have vivid memories of those days and of your dad. He was always so upbeat, pleasant and fun to be around. And...he didn't treat us like kids, even when we were young. He will be missed---my condolences. ---Bruce Cameron

To the Barlow family and Dr Sheldrick I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Barlow. He was a amazing doctor, one of a kind, and a real gentlemen. He was my doctor since the time I was born. I have had the privilege of keeping in touch with him over the years, which I'm thankful for. I could see that he was getting tired. You can only fight so long. Now he is reunited with the love of his life, Janet. May the love and memories you have of your loved one help you through these difficult days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Very sorry to have learned about Dr. Barlow's passing. He and Janet were terrific friends of my parents. He was such a energetic, positive, gracious gentleman. Accomplished both as a Physician and City Councillor. He was an outstanding example to those of us in the younger generation of class and grace. With his RCAF Service, Community involvement, City Council, and key member of the local Medical community Blake was another outstanding example of The Greatest Generation...! Sincere condolences to the Family...!

Dr. Barlow was a well respected family doctor in Chatham. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His wife Janet was a lovely caring woman. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Howie and Deb: I was so saddened of reading about the passing of your dad and my doctor for many, many years. I had the privilege of running into Howie and Dr. Barlow out shopping a few months back. It was so good talking to him and I always refer to him as Dr. Barlow. He was a great doctor and friend to the Olbey family. I will always remember my visits to the office and his welcoming smile. Hold on to the precious memories you have shared through the years. Howie you and Deb are great friends we grew up together in school as well. Sending lots of hugs. What wonderful memories I and my family have of such a caring dedicated Doctor who we could also call a friend. I was truly blessed by seeing him while at a Dr's appointment about a month ago and had a chance to share a few of these memories with him. May your treasured memories bring all of you comfort and peace and may he rest in peace.
