Obituary of Borik Smrcka

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Friday, October 26, 2018, Borik Smrcka, age 79, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Isabella Smrcka (MacDonald). 

Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1939, son of the late Zdenka and Jaroslav Smrcka.

 He is survived by his children, Denise (Gary) Brophey of Charing Cross, Tracy (Jay) Fenner of Lighthouse Cove and Jeff (Petra) Smrcka of Vittoria, 3 grandchildren, Sean Brophey, Kayla (Zach) Willemsen, and Danielle (John) Renaud, 1 great grandchild Xander James Renaud, and his brother Jerry (Pat) Smrcka of Barrie.

 Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 10 am - 12 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

 A Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel at 12 pm with Deacon Steve Cartier officiating.

 Cremation will follow with burial of cremated remains in St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date.
