Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Tuesday November 13, 2018, Christena “Marie” Etches, age 97, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Claude Etches (1987).
Born in Thamesville in 1921, daughter of the late Christena (Wall) and James Buchanan.
Loving mother of Diane Schnarr (Paul), Betty Ellis (Bill) and Joanne Olenick (Harry). Cherished grandmother of Todd (Sharron), Karen (Darnell), Katie, Jonathon (Sonia), Jason (Sharon) and Jennifer and also sadly missed by 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a granddaughter Carmen.
As were Marie’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.
Donations to the Cancer Society or Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
