To all the family of John, I wish to extend my sincere condolences. We at our former store (Guilds Furniture) in downtown Chatham, knew John for many years. He was always very friendly and shared many a funny joke with us. For so many years we would chat daily, with him good naturedly heading on his way to visit with someone else. God Bless John and all of the family. RIP John.

Uncle John will have a dear place in my heart. I will cherish the childhood memories when he still lived with Grandma Jean and Keith on Wellington with his siblings. Also when he lived with us on Princess St. I have a memory of him and his siblings playing hide and go seek at Great Grandpa's farmhouse and him hiding in water cistern in the attic. He was so skinny that he could fit in it. Aunt Diana took me up to the attic to see what all the commotion was all about just as Uncle John jumped out from the water cistern. How everyone laughed. Uncle John enjoyed shoveling the snow and catching pigeons on the bridge but he hated taking a bath. LOL he never thought he smelled. His laugh was infectious. I will cherish my memories of you for always. Rest in peace Uncle John and give Grandma Jean a big hug for me. Until we meet again, God Bless. Love Jon-Ann xo
