Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Monday April 29, 2019, Maurice Alcide Duquette, age 75, of Wallaceburg, beloved husband of Bonnie (Dempsey) Duquette. 

Born in Tilbury North Township in 1943, he was the middle child of the late Dorothy (Faubert) and Alcide Duquette.  

Maurice worked as a supervisor for Waltec Forge, he also loved his gardening and woodworking and going square dancing with his favorite “gal”.

Loving father of Randy (Lorie) Duquette and Ann Marie (Joe) Vancoillie. Cherished grandfather of Cloey (Darcy), Sara, Dylan (Rachel) and Katie (Jayden).

Dear brother of Diane DeKort (dec.Pete), Clarence (Helen) Duquette, Don (Maureen) Duquette and sister-in-law of Cathy Mathany (dec. Mike). Predeceased by brothers; Robert, Edmund and Richard Duquette.

As were Maurice’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service, cremation has taken place.

Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, the Lung Association or St. James Anglican Church in Wallaceburg would be appreciated by the family.
