Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Thursday April 7, 2016, Louise Nalewayek, age 93, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late William Nalewayek (2005). Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1923, daughter of the late Caroline (Samislawaka) and Antony Wisniewski .
Loving mother of Carolyn Jedlinski (late Antoni “Tony” 2016) of Chatham and the late Veronica Woods. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren; Katie, Lisa, Monica, Laurie and Michelle and by 9 great grandchildren.
Louise was retired from Libby, McNeil and Libby, a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, the Polish Canadian Club and the Altar Society at the Church.
Predeceased by a sister Josephine Kubilanski and brothers Ken and Phil Wisniewski.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday April 10, 2016, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 11, 2016 at 11 am in Our Lady of Victory Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
