Obituary of Shirley Ann Blair
Died peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday May 13, 2019 with her loving daughter by her side.
Shirley Ann Blair beloved wife of the late James Blair (2016) and loving daughter of the late and Donat and Clarissa (Jenner) Peltier. Precious mother to Annette and Jerome (Gail).
Sadly predeceased by children Claudette (2007) and Jim (2019).
Devoted Mémère to Cynthia (Alex) and Sarah (Jon), Andraya and Josh, Katie (Paul) and Nicole (Tom) and great grandchildren Cedric, Bryden, Mateo and her precious poupée Briella. Sister of Ron (Joan), Richard (Delores) Peltier, Claudette (Jay) Johnston.
Predeceased by Pat (Louis) Ouellette, Mary Lou (Doug) Flenniken, Robert Peltier. Dear sisters-in-law Diane Blair Allaer and Alice Blair. Dear friend of Rosalie Dubuque and many others.
Shirley worked for CIBC for almost 40 years, retiring when they closed the branch in Pain Court. She enjoyed many years of gardening and shared her flowers with everyone! She loved volunteering at the St. Catherine School and helping with Bingos, the funeral breakfasts and taking care of her grandkids and all the people in her life.
She was a lifetime member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and Le club d’amitie. During retirement Shirley and Jim did a lot of travelling throughout Canada and the States.
Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday May 15, 2019 from 2- 4 and 7- 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.
Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
