Obituary of Maria daSilva

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Wednesday June 19, 2019, Maria daSilva, of Chatham in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Alfredo daSilva (2008).  Born in San Miguel, Azores in 1926, daughter of the late Maria (Cabral) and Manuel Cabral.  

Loving mother of Maria daSilva, Linda (Jerome) Bechard and Barry daSilva. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Alison) and Gregory and by 3 great grandchildren Isla, Grayson and Layla. Dear sister of Ermelinda Torres, Marta Cabral and the late Teresa Melo. Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm.

A Service will be held on Friday June 21, 2019 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home with Deacon Jerry Lozon officating. 

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
